World Usability day veterans User Vision are delighted to announce that once again we will be taking part in the annual event to help promote user experience. This year’s theme is transportation and we will be celebrating by holding “A trip through the user experience”

We will take this year’s visitors through a series of interactive demonstrations, live usability and accessibility tests, and workshops to highlight key user experience issues that many of us face on a day to day basis. We have specifically designed this year’s event to highlight usability and accessibility across a variety of platforms.  Our demonstrations and workshops will cover web, mobile, interactive TV, software and product usability so there really is something for everyone

Some of the activities to name but a few include

  • The driving test challenge - Try your hand at the latest iTV software that allows you to practice for the hazard perception portion of your Driving theory test, will it help your pass
  • Mobile mapping for the Blind - Watch this remarkable new technology whereby blind users can use their mobile phones to find their way
  • Child car seats: is your baby safe? -Take part in live product usability testing and find out the challenges faced by parents today.
  • How do adverts make you feel?- see our new iMotions technology in action and find out what emotional impact adverts have on users.
  • I’ve lost my bag! – Find out how easy (or difficult!) it is to reclaim your lost baggage using baggage reclaim forms.
  • Do you know your Canaries from your Balearics? – Using the latest online card sorting technology find out the importance of an effective Information Architecture.

Our event starts at 2pm and runs until 6pm and we will be serving some light refreshments throughout the afternoon.  Our event is shaping up to be the best ever and we hope you can join u.
