Graduate and experienced user experience consultant positions available
Job Description
User Vision is one of the UK's leading user experience consultancies with a diverse set of blue chip & public sector clients such as: Dell Computers, the Department of Trade & Industry, Royal Bank of Scotland Group, Emirates Airline, Epson, the BBC, Scottish Government, Royal Navy & many others.
We are a growing consultancy and are looking to expand our team with a suitable graduate and an HCI/Usability professional with at least 2 years experience in the field.
You will be required to conduct expert usability evaluations, information architecture analysis & usability tests for a range of large organisations who demand fast thinkers, detailed analysis and reports showing a good sense of business acumen. We work in a fast paced environment, often conducting more than one project at a time - ability to handle multiple projects effectively is an important criteria. Experience conducting practical usability /HCI methods within a commercial environment will be a plus.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of usability & accessibility principles & practical applications, ideally in a commercial or business environment. Excellent written & oral presentation skills are a must.

What we're looking for
Usability knowledge & experience: You have real, first-hand experience running usability tests, accessibility assessments, and other techniques like card sorting or wire-framing. In particular you can demonstrate a good understanding of web technologies and their pros & cons and have an appreciation of the software/web development process.
Communications skills: You are clear & diplomatic, persuasive & charming. Your reports readable & well structured, offering innovative recommendations, and you have an engaging presentation style. You are also a fast thinker with good business acumen.
Qualifications: You will have a BSc or MSc in Human Computer Interaction, User Interface Design or related areas.
